What is really annoying, well not really annoying, but sad, is that the really intricate, contextual ones must, by definition, miss the target. If you've not yet seen the movie, how can you possibly "get" the context of the menu page.

DVD Rant (Inconsequential)
Has anyone thought about the complete waste of time and effort involved in the creation of DVD Menu pages. Except for anoraks and young children, how many of us watch a DVD more than once? Is this an age thing? What's certainly true is that if the viewing is multiple, you would certainly not notice or pay much attention to the Menu page.
