This is from a site I can't recommend enough. The Big Picture. It's part of the Boston Globe and it's a unique, regularly updated collection of professional photo journalism from the professional photo press (not just their in-house). It's presented in subject oriented packages, but in a non-judgmental straightforward way that is oddly effective. Check it out. The above example is very humbling, but it's not all gloom and doom.
