Speedy Boarders and Air-Rage

How stupid do you feel when your conned by the airlines, especially the budget airlines with their special offers of "speedy or priority boarding". I believe they've even managed to get mugs to pay for this "privilege". Let's examine what you get for your money:

You're standing on a boiling hot bus, or in a queue to go into a tin tube designed for people tied to seats. But for 20 to 30 minutes it's full of bustling humanity, bags hitting you in the face. You can't go to the toilet. You can't get a drink. You can't use your phone. You can't play your iPod, your games console or whatever. You can't use your laptop. You can't even open your newspaper, let alone read it; AND the air conditioning just can't cope (if it's on at all).

I, on the other hand, am in an air conditioned lounge, seated with unlimited leg-room, with toilets, phones, and access to drinks etc. quietly, un-stressfully reading the paper until the optimum time to board.

They won't go without me and you won't get there before me.

More worryingly, I've witnessed agression turning into violence caused by the frustration felt by some passengers that feel that they have been cheated by people "jumping" the queue, or otherwise gaining an unfair advantage. What advantage?
