I've been pretty down on the people who play football in this country recently. Time for some praise; for the fans. After the disgusting events in Rome last week, my view in St James' on Easter Monday of the section of the ground with the visiting Arsenal supporters was in very stark contrast. With the minimum of "policing" as evidenced in the picture, the match was enjoyed by all without fear or intimidation. That's how civilised nations behave!
